Current State of the Market for Mortgage Brokers

If you're involved in the mortgage marketplace in any way shape or form, you would be aware of the ongoing battle between mortgage brokers and the major banks in terms of commissions, trials and claw-backs.

Personally, I'm of the opinion that brokers have to remember that they too are in business to make money and as such, have to find and retain customers in the same way anyone else does. Guys: Nobody owes you a living! You have to compete like everyone else.

I was sent this link this morning and would encourage to take a few minutes to read both the article and the response comments. Seems the opinions vary across Broker World. The article is at Lending Central and is called "Disillusioned broker implores lenders to examine their consciences"
